Environmental Impact

Just as you would remove trash from your own garden, an environmental advantage to underwater gardening is when we see trash, we remove it.

The Importance of Underwater Gardening

Invasive weeds specialize at rapidly reproducing and choking out native plant life in lakes. Underwater Gardeners are responsible for removing invasive species to allow the native plants to recover. If done correctly native plants can take over areas of the lake that were previously inhabited with invasive species.

The Underwater Gardening Process

The process focuses on the scuba diver and their unique ability to see, select, and remove an invasive aquatic plant and its roots while supported by a team member on the surface who continually monitors for plant fragments and additional plant growth.

Getting to the root of the problem

As long as the roots remain intact, many aquatic plants will grow back.

Our environment deserves our
Tender. Loving. Care.
